Talk to me, Harry Winston, tell me all about the Opus III

Photobucket

this was something i had wanted to do for some time but better late than never... the saying also applies to the timepiece that is the focus of this post as well :) [note: this is a modem melting post] i would also recommend you read Andrew's post on a working prototype here... it looks like deliveries are ever closer for an ultimate grail timepiece...

what follows then are pages from 3 booklets that were released for the marketing of the Opus III... I doubt many have had the chance of obtaining these or seeing them and thought that it would be good to share the wonderful information and images within here... i hope u enjoy learning about this watch that is a legend in the making...

the proto's numerals are different but i hope they retain the numeral design from the original... they are simply fantastic... the bling is to make sure u know that its from Harry Winston ;)

my hats off and respect to Harry Winston for persevering in this (coming into the 7th year), the conceptual genius and vision of Vianney Halter and Maximilian Busser, the team at Renaud et Papi for realising this(fingers crossed), Pascal Pages for the design of the watch working with Vianney's concept [Philippe Mariez to be credited for bringing this to light]

what is noted in the next page seems almost prescient... if they ever realised how unreasonable this would be noting the significant effort and time that would be spent on realising this dream machine, they would perhaps have considered making more? :) 55 examples only and i believe all spoken for... 55 pieces of such a highly desirable time machine... a mechanical artistic expression... i cannot wait to see and hold the final delivered pieces... congrats to all the owners of something truly wondrous...
