Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra >15'000 gauss In Hand Pics and Thoughts

following my earlier post below with information on this significant timepiece LINK thanks to the cool folks at Omega for sharing the piece in the metal with me.

invariably folks will compare this with Rolex's Milgauss(love that piece too and my post on it here LINK) as their price points are fairly similar [retails in Singapore for S$8,550] but that would be missing the forest for the trees. the highly anti-magnetic movement and know how to make highly anti-magnetic movements are not tied to a watch model and can be used in ALL of Omega's watches in the future and that is what is significant about this piece. it ushers in a possible future for Omega's movements to better what is out there right now. ok enough words and to the pics :)

it's electrifying! well uhm.. I mean it can withstand over 15000 gauss without being affected so is it... non-electrifying? :)

the black and yellow combo is nice and sporty looking and the second hand of course makes one think of the bumblebee ;)

as the movement itself is made of non-ferrous metals, there is no anti-magnetic cover needed over the movement and it can be seen in all it's beauty

the applied indices are great and it's a handsome timepiece other than the significant milestone it represents

nice omega applied logo... I really like omega dials with the applied logo and indices

size compare with another omega with an applied logo :)
